Brand & Redesign

Design System and UX/UI Improvements

Creating a new on-line retail and user experience through user testing resulted  in new brand guidelines, updated online retail site  and packaging up-leveling NZXT.
Here's how I approached this project:

User Testing and Research:
  • Conduct user testing and research to understand the needs, preferences, and pain points of NZXT customers in the retail environment.
  • Gather feedback on existing retail experiences, brand perception, and packaging design through surveys, interviews, and usability testing.
Define Goals and Objectives:
  • Identify the goals and objectives for enhancing the retail and user experience, such as improving brand perception, increasing sales, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the new initiatives, such as customer engagement metrics, conversion rates, and brand loyalty.
Develop New Brand Guidelines and Visual Voice:
  • Based on the insights gathered from user testing and research, develop new brand guidelines and visual voice that align with NZXT's brand identity and resonate with target customers.
  • Define brand elements such as logo, color palette, typography, imagery style, and tone of voice to create a cohesive and consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.
Retail Experience Redesign:
  • Redesign the retail experience based on user feedback and the new brand guidelines, focusing on creating a seamless and engaging experience for customers.
  • Consider factors such as store layout, product displays, signage, interactive elements, and customer service interactions to enhance the overall retail experience.
Packaging Up-leveling:
  • Revise and up-level the packaging design for NZXT products to align with the new brand guidelines and visual voice.
  • Incorporate user feedback to create packaging that is visually appealing, informative, and memorable, enhancing the perceived value of NZXT products and improving shelf presence in retail environments.
Iterative Design and Testing:
  • Iterate on the design concepts for the retail experience and packaging based on feedback from stakeholders and user testing.
  • Conduct prototype testing and mockups to evaluate the effectiveness of the new designs in real-world scenarios and make adjustments as needed.
Monitoring and Evaluation:
  • Monitor the performance of the new retail experience and packaging designs using KPIs and analytics tools.
  • Gather feedback from customers, store staff, and other stakeholders to assess the effectiveness of the changes and identify areas for further improvement.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Continuously iterate and refine the retail experience and packaging designs based on ongoing feedback, market trends, and evolving customer needs.
  • Maintain flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the continued success of the initiatives.

This was a ongoing project , allowing NZXT to create a new online retail site and a polished user experience that enhances brand perception, drives customer engagement, and ultimately leads to increased sales and customer satisfaction.
